Meet Walter! He was picked up as a stray with another dog. They both had collars on and
Walter still had his leash attached. Sadly, an owner never came forward.
Walter had mange on his back end and has received the medical care needed to get healthy and happy! Walter is currently at a board and train facility so he can get proper training. He is doing very well and the trainers have suggested that an owner who has GSD or Chow experience would be very beneficial. He needs routine, positive reinforcement and structure.
It seems like he can live with a cat. So far when approached with cats he has not had a reaction. We believe he can live with dogs but slow, steady intros are required.
We also recommend kids 13 and older.
